USER RULES & POLICY

These rules and policies apply to the usage of the website such as; making deals, selling, buying, bidding, payments, shipments, posting updates and events, commenting and other general user regulations. You have accepted these Rules and Policies by accepting our Terms and Conditions. Any violation to these Rules may have consequences that result in suspending or terminating your membership and the usage of your account without further notice.

1. ProChronos Deals

ProChronos deal is made when both, the seller and buyer have agreed on the final price of a watch/part, either by bidding, posting a watch/part with Buy Now price or Buy Now function or accepting a bid price. Therefore, both parties have an agreement binding the deal and must follow through the deal until the end (payments and shipments), unless they both decide to withdraw from the deal together.

2. Completing ProChronos Deals

After a ProChronos deal has been made, the deal should be completed within three (3) business days (payments and shipments) after the auction has finished.

After the normal auction (without Buy Now function or Buy Now price) is finished, the seller has one (1) business day to confirm in writing (email or message via ProChronos) if they accept the final bid price and send payment details to the highest bidder. When/if the seller informs the highest bidder that they accept the final bid price and sends the payment details, the buyer has one (1) business day to pay the watch/part and send a receipt of the payment to the seller. After the seller has received a confirmation of the payment, the seller has one (1) business day to ship the watch/part to the buyer and send them a confirmation receipt of the shipment. During the Completing a Deal Process, you must have open and honest communication, provide accurate and correct information on payments and shipments details to the seller and/or buyer.

3. Add Listing and Selling

When adding a listing and posting a watch/part for sale on ProChronos, you undertake that all the details you provide such as the content of the listings and images of the watches/parts are legit, authentic, accurate and correct information of the watch/part.

You can add listing with normal auction (without Buy Now function and Buy Now price) or with Buy Now function. If you add a listing with normal function, you can accept a bid price from another user at any given time of the auction. If you accept a bid price, a ProChronos deal has been made. This means that the seller and the buyer have agreed on the final price of the watch/part and both parties have an agreement binding the deal. Therefore, you must sell the watch/part with this price to the buyer.

If you add a listing with Buy Now function or Buy Now price, you are agreeing to sell the watch/part at this price and cannot change the price if a buyer has placed a bid and agreed to this price, and therefore a ProChronos deal has been made. This means that seller and the buyer have agreed on the final price of the watch/part and both parties have an agreement binding the deal. Therefore, you must sell the watch/part with this price to the buyer who has accepted this price.

4. Reserve, Relist and Delete Listings

You can reserve your listing at any given time. When you have reserved the listing for someone, it cannot receive bids, but it will still be listed on the auctions page. You can unreserve the listing and receive bids on it again and the auction will continue as normal.

When your listing is finished and did not receive any bids, you can relist the listing again.

You have the right to delete your listing at any given time of the auction, even if your listing has received bids. The bidders from your listing will receive an auction notification informing them that your listing is no longer available.

After 30 days when the listing or hunt is finished without relisting, ProChronos holds the right to delete it from the database.

5. Bidding and Buy Now 

When you are bidding on a watch/part with a normal auction (without Buy Now function or Buy Now price), you are agreeing to the price of your bid. If your bid wins, it does not mean that you can buy the watch/part at the price of your bid. The seller has to first agree to your bid price. If the seller agrees to the price of your bid, a ProChronos deal has been made. Therefore, you must buy the watch/part with the price of your bid from the seller.

The Buy Now function and Buy Now price has a fixed price, if you bid this price and agree to this price, a ProChronos deal has been made (the seller has already agreed to this price when posting the listing). Therefore, you must buy the watch/part with the Buy Now price that you bid from the seller.

After each ProChronos deal, you should organize the payment and shipment together with the seller on your own. The deal should be completed within 3 business days (payments and shipments) after the auction has finished.

6. Payments and Shipments of the Watches/Parts 

There are no payments or shipments of the watches/parts on the website. Because ProChronos acts as platform to sell and buy watches/parts it is important to notice that we do not deal with the payment and shipment procedures of the watches/parts. ProChronos is not responsible for the deals and for the agreement between the seller and the buyer. Therefore, after each ProChronos deal, the sellers and buyers are responsible for communicating and organizing the payments and shipments between themselves. However, please note, that when you do the shipments of the watches/parts, they should always be insured.

7. Return Policies of the Watches/Parts

When you have made a ProChronos deal, and want to return a watch/part, you have to agree and settle the return procedures with the seller. ProChronos does not take part in the return procedures of the watches/parts.

8. Adding Watch & Part Hunts

When adding watch or part hunts, you must comply that you are posting accurate and correct information of the watch/part you are looking for. Any fake or misleading information on the hunts will have consequences that may result to suspending or terminating your membership and account.

9. Leaving Offers to Hunts

When you leave an offer on a specific watch/part hunt, you must comply to send the correct and accurate information on the watch/part you want to sell. Any fake or inaccurate information on the watches/parts you want to sell, will have consequences that may result to suspending or terminating your membership and account.

10. Misconduct on Deals and Abusive Behaviour 

Any misconduct on ProChronos deals (if the seller or buyer did not follow through agreed deal) or in case of fake information submitted on the watches/parts, will have consequences. The user who has misconducted on a deal or submitted fake information on a listing will have consequences that may result to suspending or terminating the membership and account without further notice. Any paid fees that are unused will not be returned to the user.

Abusive and irresponsible behavior such as using harmful and rude language, posting inappropriate or offensive text or images, bothering or spamming other users, posting fake or defamatory content will have consequences that may result to suspending or terminating the membership and account without further notice.

We require respect towards all of our international users. Any offensive or racist language and comments will not be tolerated. The users who violate this rule, will have consequences that may result to suspending or terminating the membership and account without further notice. Any paid fees that are unused will not be returned to the user.

11.1. ProChronos WatchMedia & Content

On the Watch Media you are allowed only to post watch related material (text, photos, updates, videos, links, articles, comments etc.).

You are allowed to use only English language on posts and comments, so all the other international professionals and enthusiasts understand all of the content.

You must represent truthfully yourself or your company. Do not impersonate others, post inaccurate or misleading information.

You are solely responsible for the content you post and publish. You must have the consent from the owners of the content before posting any material if it does not belong to you. You should remove any content or other information that the owner asks you to remove within 24 hours from the platform.

We do not claim the ownership of your content, but you give us the right to use it. We have the right to remove any content from You.

You have the right to delete or edit your posts and comments at any given time.

11.2.  Following, Mentioning & Posting 

You can follow, unfollow other professionals and enthusiasts. Other users can follow or unfollow You.

You can comment and like other users posts and other users can like and comment your posts.

You can mention other users in your posts or comments and other users can mention you in their posts and comments.

Friendly and respectful behaviour is expected from you, harassment, rude, offensive or racist language on updates, posts, comments and messages will not be tolerated.

Any violation of the rules for WatchMedia will have consequences that may result to suspending or terminating the membership and account without further notice. Any paid fees that are unused will not be returned to the user.

12. ProChronos WatchCalendar

On the Watch Calendar you are allowed to add only watch related events. You must add accurate information of the event, contact details, venue and time. Before the event is visible to other members, administrator checks and approves the event. Do not add events or contact details of people/organisations who have not given a consent for it. Any misleading or inaccurate information on the events can be changed by the administrator or the event can be unapproved or deleted.

13. Filing a Complaint 

If you have problems with a service, deal, other user, posts or other issue, you have the right to file a complaint. The complaint has to be in writing as a form of an email and send to ProChronos administration at info@prochronos.com. Please include all information possible and specific details of the issue and it will be investigated. We will get back to you as soon as possible to inform you on the process of the complaint.
