The platform currently is available for Watch Dealers and Watch Repairers and Watch Enthusiasts in the EU countries because of the verification process. In the near future we will open our doors to global markets!

To become a member of ProChronos and get access to the services, every new user is required to fill in their business or personal details using an online registration form.

Our goal is to minimize the risk of fraud and “ungenuine” users. Businesses will be verified with their VAT numbers, company registration numbers and their business addresses. Enthusiasts’ are asked to verify their phone number and a small registration fee in order to ensure their identity with payments. To register you must be age 18 or OVER. ProChronos will verify and check all registrations before accepting new users on the platform. After your registration has been accepted you will receive an email notification on how to proceed and access your account.

Prochronos deal is made when both, the seller and buyer have agreed on the final price of a watch. Therefore, both parties have an agreement binding the deal and must follow through the deal until the end (payments and shipments), unless they both decide to withdraw together from the deal.

In the Add Listing, you can add watches for sale, either in Flash or Watch Auction. You can add watch parts for sale in Part Auctions. The add listing requires you to fill in all necessary information about the watch/part, including photos of it, in order for other users to get a good idea of what kind of item you are selling. Therefore, you will have to fill in fields marked with an “*” before you can post the listing for sale.

Flash Auctions is for you when you want to sell your watch quickly (length 1–24 hrs)

Yes, you can always edit your listing, however you cannot edit time of the auction once it has been posted and once your listing has received bids you cannot change the prices on the listing.

Yes, you can always delete your listing even when it has received bids. The bidders will receive an auction notification that the listing is no longer available.

If you delete your listing where the auction has finished, make sure the deal is completed or the highest bidder has been informed that there is no deal with the current price for the watch/part.

Yes, you can reserve your listing at any time during the auction. Once you reserve it, the listing will remain on the auction page and cannot receive bids. You can always unreserve it and the auction will continue as normal.

Yes, you can relist a watch after the auction is finished if the watch did not receive any bids. You can do this by going to My Listings page and clicking to the listing and relisting it.

If you cannot find your finished listing on My Listings page and you have not deleted the listing yourself, mostly likely it has been deleted from the ProChronos database. We hold the right to delete all finished listings after 30 days after the auction has finished if the listing has not been relisted again.

When you are Bidding on a watch, you are agreeing to the price of your bid. If your bid wins, you must buy the watch when the seller agrees to the price. Therefore, the seller has to accept your bid price within 1 business day after the auction has finished and before the deal can go forward. The seller and the highest bidder will receive an auction notification after the auction is finished.

After each deal, the seller and the buyer should organize the payment and shipment of the watch together. The deal should be completed within 3 business days (payments and shipments) after the auction has finished.

The Buy Now function has a fixed price. As a buyer, if you bid and agree to this price, you must buy the watch. When a buyer agrees to this price, the watch will disappear from the auction pages. Seller and buyer will receive an auction notification.

As a seller if you post the listing with the Buy Now price, you agree to sell the watch with this price and cannot change the price after a buyer has agreed to buy the watch with this price. Therefore, you must sell the watch with this price to the buyer who has accepted the Buy Now price.

After each deal, the seller and buyer should organize the payment and shipment of the watch together. The deal should be completed within 3 business days (payments and shipments) after the auction has finished.

Every time your listing receives a new Bid, you will receive an auction notification. You can accept a bid price of your listings at any time during the auction. The listing will disappear from the auction pages after you have accepted a bid price. You and the buyer will receive an auction notification on the deal. Other bidders will also receive an auction notification that the listing is no longer available.

If you have Bid on a listing and someone outbids you, you will receive an auction notification.

If you have bid on a watch/part, and the seller has accepted another price and sold it to someone else, you will receive an auction notification with the title of the listing that you have bid on.

When you have finished an auction and sold the watch/part to a user, you can ask them to give you feedback and rating. To do this you must go to the listing and press ask for feedback button, and the buyer will receive a request from you as an auction notification. This rating and feedback will be saved to your profile.

There are no payments or shipments of the watches on the website! Because ProChronos acts as platform to sell and buy watches it is important to note we do not deal with payment and shipment procedures of the watches. Therefore, after each deal, the users are responsible for communicating and organizing the payments and shipments on their own. Please note when you do the shipments of the watches, they should be insured.

As we do not deal directly with watches/parts, You should contact the seller and organize with them the possible return process. We do not take part in the return policies or processes of the watches and parts.

The prices of the watches on the website should include VAT. Please make sure with the seller the final price before purchasing.

When there is a misconduct with a deal, and if the buyer or seller did not follow through or fake information was submitted on a listing etc., this will be investigated. If the deal did not go through for a good valid reason, there are no consequences. However, if the deal failed because of a misconduct, the user who failed the deal will receive a warning or may be suspended from using the platform or in the case of an serious misconduct the user’s account can be terminated without further notice. Any remaining credit balances will not be returned to the user.

Currently we do not require payments for the listings as this is included in the membership.

Currently ProChronos does not require a membership fee for Enthusiasts.  Business memberships are also FREE currently which includes unlimited usage of the platform services. In the near future we will require a reasonable monthly membership fee from businesses, this will be announced beforehand on the website.

Yes, you can subscribe the brands you want in order to receive email notifications. When there is a watch posted on the website with your subscribed brand/brands, you will be notified via email and you will also receive an auction notification.

You can add your Subscriptions by going to My Auctions Dashboard, and on the left-hand side click My Subscriptions area. By clicking the brands in My Subscription area, you can choose your subscriptions and save them on the bottom of the page. Any time you want to add more brands or change the subscriptions you can do this in the Subscriptions area.

With Watch Hunt you can “hunt” for specific watches that you or your customer is looking for (length 1-30 days).

How does it work?

  2. Add the hunt to Watch Hunt
  3. Fill in the correct information of the watch and post
  4. Wait for other members to send you offers or contact you when they have this specific watch
  5. Make a deal with the seller when you agree on the final price
  6. Organize together with the seller, the payment and shipment procedures
  7. Rate the seller

Watch Calendar is the international calendar of ProChronos for watch related events.

All members can add or search watch related events on the calendar either for professionals or enthusiasts or for all.

How does it work?

  1. Go to Watch Calendar
  2. Add event and all necessary information of the event
  3. Before the event will appear on the Watch Calendar, ProChronos Team will check the event details
  4. You can also search for events by date, role, country, city and see who is interested or going to the event

WatchMedia is the social media channel for ProChronos. You can post watch related status updates, photos and links, and see all members’ posts.

Businesses can promote their offers, sales, services and news.

Enthusiasts can share their watch passion and related material, follow and connect with other international enthusiasts & professionals.

How does it work?

  1. Go to WatchMedia or Your Profile
  2. Post status update, photos or links (videos from youtube can be posted with links)
  3. Other members can see your post, like and comment on it
  4. You can mention @ businesses and enthusiast in posts and comments
  5. Mentioning @ happens with the usernames, but before mentioning you can search for the names of the members
  6. You can filter the posts with country, role of members, your own mentions, followers and likes
  7. When you have activities on your posts or get followers etc., you will receive WatchMedia notifications

To connect your social network channels to your profile go to your profile, and from right hand-corner choose settings and then go to photos & networking, and then to social networks.

To control your mentions, replies and message email notifications, go to your profile, and from right-hand corner choose settings and then go to notification settings.

To edit your profile settings, go to your profile, and from right-hand corner choose settings and then go to profile settings. There you can edit/add all watch related information you want other members to see. You can add: watch skills, my watch collection, slideshow, my keepers, my flippers, my grail watches, watch services, project, quote, link and video. You can also connect your account with Instagram account and the photos from your Instagram will be saved to your ProChronos profile. All this information will be displayed on your profile once you have saved it.

Yes, you can connect your Instagram account to your ProChronos account. To do this go to My Profile and from right-hand corner choose settings and then go to profile settings and then to Instagram. When you connect your account, the photos from your Instagram will be saved to your ProChronos profile.

When you first join ProChronos, your profile picture will be automatically from ProChronos. You can add your own customized profile picture/logo and cover photo by going to My Profile and then clicking to the camera icon of the profile picture or cover photo.

Some of the information on your profile you can edit yourself by going to My Profile and then to Info. Click to the edit icon on the up-right hand corner.  It will bring you to My Info & Account page. Some of the information, you cannot change yourself and if you wish to edit the information and you are unable to, please send email to info@prochronos.com and inform what details you want to be changed. These details will most likely be verified before changing them on the website.

When you want to change your password for your account, go to My Auctions Dashboard and then to My Info & Account area. There you will find the option to change your password. You can also go to the ProChronos login page and choose reset password. An email will be sent to you with a link to change your password.

You can send your complaint to ProChronos administration at info@prochronos.com. Please inform us of the specific complaint details and it will be investigated. We will get back to you as soon as possible to inform you about the process and situation of the complaint.

If you do not wish to continue using ProChronos services and you want to delete your account, you should send email to ProChronos administration with your details. The administration will delete your account upon your requests.

Please note that you cannot cancel your membership if you have any of your own listings active or active listings where you are the highest bidder.

Also note that after you have cancelled your membership and account, and if you have paid membership or listing fees that are unused, they will not be returned.
